HYLOMAR USA INTRODUCES HYLOMAR M
Bloomfield Hills, MI (August 1, 2010) Hylomar USA Inc., master distributor of Hylomar products in North America, has introduced Hylomar M, a new high performance version of its Hylomar blue non-setting sealant. Hylomar M uses acetone as its solvent carrier, and will be replacing Hylomar Racing Formula. Hylomar M is available in a 40ml blister card, an 80 ml carton, a 300ml cartridge, and a 1 kg tin. An aerosol will be available at a later date.

Ferrea Racing Components Becomes Distributor for Hylomar USA

Ferrea Racing Components will be representing Hylomar with sealants, adhesives and Hylokeeper™ treated valve locks. HyloClamps are made using a unique clip which holds open OEM-specified spring steel constant tension hose clamps. This permits quick and easy assembly and all the advantages of constant tension clamps, without the use of special tools. You just slide it into place, give the clip a quick tug, and it snaps on.  ;
HyloClamps are made with the same OEM spring band clamps used by major car manufacturers. Hylomar USA Introduces HyloCool Thermal Barrier Gel
Bloomfield Hills, MI (DATE) Hylomar USA Inc., manufacturer of a wide range of performance sealants, adhesives, and their flagship product, Hylomar Universal Blue, announces the new product launch of HyloCool Thermal Barrier Gel.
HyloCool is a revolutionary blue thermal barrier gel for use in welding. The process works through evaporative cooling. The gel holds water in place on the surface of the metal and at the boiling point wicks the heat away. This water-soluble gel will adhere to horizontal and vertical surfaces, even upside-down. The effect lasts until the gel evaporates, leaving behind no mess.
HyloCool keeps the heat only where it is needed by blocking the flow of heat during welding, brazing, and soldering operations. Warping and distortion can be avoided by laying down a bead of HyloCool. A small amount of HyloCool can protect metal powder coats, chrome, and stainless finishes from bluing or oxidation.
Additional HyloCool applications include, protecting plastic, rubber, wiring harnesses, and other vulnerable surfaces that need shielding from heat damage. When using heat to remove head bolts, apply HyloCool around the bolts to avoid damaging the block. With HyloCool you avoid taking assemblies apart prior to welding.
