They are typically made with 4-ply silicone and polyester reinforcement on the Cold Side, and with Nomex (Aramid) reinforcement - good to 500F - for the Hot Side. Standard CAC Hose is made with a silicone liner and has 3 rings; specialty CAC hoses are also available with up to 6 rings, and with fluorosilicone liners for enhanced fluid resistance. |
